The gospel can be told in many ways, but it is the story of Jesus loving us so much that He took the punishment for our sins. Now God doesn't see our sins when He looks at us. He sees the sinless life of His Son, Jesus, instead. Jesus has never done anything wrong. And that's how God sees us, if we have let Jesus take our sins away.
